Arizona!

I (cassie) am in AZ right now for a softball camp, and I am keeping my eyes peeled for Brewer players and any other MLB players that live here..suprisingly, a lot of them do! Its a very pretty state! And its sooooo good to feel the heat of the sun again after being in a snow filled, cold state for the past 2 months! I layed on the grass and listened to the Beatles because the sun was really coming... :))) Can't wait for Brewers on Deck! :)

Theres been lots of trades recently. Villanueva to the blue jays, coffee let go, (I am seriously going to miss coffee time) Worth to the Nationals...I am super anxious to see waht they come up with for Fielder!

Oktober, Macha, and everything I've missed since I last wrote!

Regular season is over! And the Brewers once again are below .500 for their final record of 2010 :( Ken Macha lost his job over it too! I respect Ken, but I didn't agree with some of his choices throughout the season!I have no idea who will fill in the spot, but I'm glad that Doug Melvin is taking his time and not making a rash decision! We've had some great managers in the past but have struggled as of the last few years. Its hard to find a great manager with the Brewers not having a ton of money to spend on one! We have a great team, awesome fans, (If I do say so myself!) and a night at ol' Miller Park is always fun no matter what the winning score. Does winning matter? ummmm YES! People want to win, its our nature, and in professional baseball, winning a Division Title, a wild card, a World Series, yeah, its a big deal! But for Milwaukee, lets work on winning our homestands for now! Were only missing a few pieces to the puzzles, and the offseason could either complete the puzzle or maybe take something away...*ahem* Prince Fielder...As muh as we all love our Fresh Prince of Milwaukee, we might have to let him go on to bigger and better things! (I would hate to see him become a Yankee or a Cub though...) Althoough the smaller market of Milwaukee, and us having such great fans, its kinda fun to have big players here, because without them, WE wouldn't be here! Gosh, I love baseball...OI, and with the postseason, ummmm GO REDS!!!!!! Reds are like the Brewers in some ways. They finish in the middle, they don't really make the top contencers lists in the beginning of the year, blah blah blah, basically, their a come-from-behind-team and come-from-behind they did! No one expected them to be here, and yet here they are! Can't wait to see how this all turns out! Til next time...

Unsportsmanlike or not??

Can there really be less than 20 games left In he season????? I remember opening day like it was April...once again we are faced with the boringness of the offseason, but there's always football!!! Go Pack! :) I love how the Brewers can drop a series to a team 20 games under .500 but then they go and take an immediate 2 from he team that was leading he NL West until we showed up in town! I guess that just makes us special. I love us. And I had a little bit of a personal problem with the fact that baseball teams don't really "acknowledge" eachother after a game! You know how in football the teams go out and say hi to eachother after the game? Well, in my years of baseball and ky little time playing volleyball, we always shake/ high five the other team after the game while saying, "good game." or something along those lines. I just think that in baseball they should do that too. It would be more...sportsmanlike. :)

Brewer AWESOMENESS!

OK, so yes, I did break my Brewers record and went to 5 of the 9 games they just played their last homestand! It was GREAT! we even got Mark Attanasio and Kameron loes autgraphs! Sweetness! We sat by some really funny people, some really dumb people, and some great fans! Sad though that Saturday was my last Brewer game of the year because I'm going on vacation, but they won the last one, so thats good, right??? And then Yovani Gallardo and Brewers Trainer Alex Sanchez got robbed?!?!?!? that was an insane headline!! But thank God their fine, and can still play! :) I also loved watching the 40 years/40 moments of FSWisconsin!! It showed all the reasons I apsolutely love baseball, the Brewers, and sports!!! Its the passion people have, the friendships, and the overall love for the game! The competitive spirits, and the whole other world that it takes you too!! Rachel and I had a fun time at the games and on Saturday we sat in the left field bleachers and came THIS close to catching a ball from Ryan Braun!!! We did catch a Pirates home run ball that bounced in the Brewers bullpen and then was thrown up to us! I love the Brewers and can't wait for another awesome season and another awesome record to break! Believe in 2011!!!!
