Arizona!
I (cassie) am in AZ right now for a softball camp, and I am keeping my eyes peeled for Brewer players and any other MLB players that live here..suprisingly, a lot of them do! Its a very pretty state! And its sooooo good to feel the heat of the sun again after being in a snow filled, cold state for the past 2 months! I layed on the grass and listened to the Beatles because the sun was really coming... :))) Can't wait for Brewers on Deck! :)

I know people don't really read this, but maybe they will soon, because Rachel and I are planning to be at BrewersOnDeck and we will be handing out littel slips with our info on it, because we really like blogging and the brewers and baseball! the 3 B's! Theres been lots of trades recently. Villanueva to the blue jays, coffee let go, (I am seriously going to miss coffee time) Worth to the Nationals...I am super anxious to see waht they come up with for Fielder!

Oktober, Macha, and everything I've missed since I last wrote!
Regular season is over! And the Brewers once again are below .500 for their final record of 2010 :( Ken Macha lost his job over it too! I respect Ken, but I didn't agree with some of his choices throughout the season!I have no idea who will fill in the spot, but I'm glad that Doug Melvin is taking his time and not making a rash decision! We've had some great managers in the past but have struggled as of the last few years. Its hard to find a great manager with the Brewers not having a ton of money to spend on one! We have a great team, awesome fans, (If I do say so myself!) and a night at ol' Miller Park is always fun no matter what the winning score. Does winning matter? ummmm YES! People want to win, its our nature, and in professional baseball, winning a Division Title, a wild card, a World Series, yeah, its a big deal! But for Milwaukee, lets work on winning our homestands for now! Were only missing a few pieces to the puzzles, and the offseason could either complete the puzzle or maybe take something away...*ahem* Prince Fielder...As muh as we all love our Fresh Prince of Milwaukee, we might have to let him go on to bigger and better things! (I would hate to see him become a Yankee or a Cub though...) Althoough the smaller market of Milwaukee, and us having such great fans, its kinda fun to have big players here, because without them, WE wouldn't be here! Gosh, I love baseball...OI, and with the postseason, ummmm GO REDS!!!!!! Reds are like the Brewers in some ways. They finish in the middle, they don't really make the top contencers lists in the beginning of the year, blah blah blah, basically, their a come-from-behind-team and come-from-behind they did! No one expected them to be here, and yet here they are! Can't wait to see how this all turns out! Til next time...

Unsportsmanlike or not??
Can there really be less than 20 games left In he season????? I remember opening day like it was April...once again we are faced with the boringness of the offseason, but there's always football!!! Go Pack! :) I love how the Brewers can drop a series to a team 20 games under .500 but then they go and take an immediate 2 from he team that was leading he NL West until we showed up in town! I guess that just makes us special. I love us. And I had a little bit of a personal problem with the fact that baseball teams don't really "acknowledge" eachother after a game! You know how in football the teams go out and say hi to eachother after the game? Well, in my years of baseball and ky little time playing volleyball, we always shake/ high five the other team after the game while saying, "good game." or something along those lines. I just think that in baseball they should do that too. It would be more...sportsmanlike. :)

Trevor Time!
My Brewers cap goes off to you, Trevor! Job well done! I know it was hard, and we were at like, 598 for like, 3 months, but congrats! You pulled it off!

Brewer AWESOMENESS!
OK, so yes, I did break my Brewers record and went to 5 of the 9 games they just played their last homestand! It was GREAT! we even got Mark Attanasio and Kameron loes autgraphs! Sweetness! We sat by some really funny people, some really dumb people, and some great fans! Sad though that Saturday was my last Brewer game of the year because I'm going on vacation, but they won the last one, so thats good, right??? And then Yovani Gallardo and Brewers Trainer Alex Sanchez got robbed?!?!?!? that was an insane headline!! But thank God their fine, and can still play! :) I also loved watching the 40 years/40 moments of FSWisconsin!! It showed all the reasons I apsolutely love baseball, the Brewers, and sports!!! Its the passion people have, the friendships, and the overall love for the game! The competitive spirits, and the whole other world that it takes you too!! Rachel and I had a fun time at the games and on Saturday we sat in the left field bleachers and came THIS close to catching a ball from Ryan Braun!!! We did catch a Pirates home run ball that bounced in the Brewers bullpen and then was thrown up to us! I love the Brewers and can't wait for another awesome season and another awesome record to break! Believe in 2011!!!!

Our Double Brewer game awesome sleepover!!!
Welll, the game tonight was a bust of sorts, as the one last night, but we had the most fun watching them!!! Tonight, we were sitting next to some really funny guys that were cracking us up and even yelling, "I love you, Ryan Braun!" with us!After the game last night we went down by the South Docks and got Kameron Loes autograph! He was super nice! :) We tried to get Braun, but he was with his Spanish girlfriend, and McGehee was like, "sorry, I gotta get home!" we understand. :/ Tonight, after the game we squeezed and shoveed our way over to the dugout to get Mark Attanasio's autograph, which we did, and he was really nice too! even though they lost it was still super fun!!! :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Don't STOP!
Ahhh, poor Manny. He had such a great start! I feel so bad for him! I hope he doesn't beat himself up for this...his shirt was nice for like, the first 2 innings, but then he unbuttoned a button right in the middle or somethng, either way he screwed it up. Again. I wonder how long this will go on... Anyways, right now, I(Cassidy) am in the middle of making a humongous Brewers sign thats gonna say "Don't stop believing." But the stop is gonna be a stop sign, and its gonna be all blue and gold and glittery! its going to be very epic! Can't wait to take it to a game! Crossing my fingers that we cna win the next 2 over Arizona, only the Brewers could make a team that bad look this good... :D

Sadness
Rachel and I went to the game last night and it was very fun! Altohugh we didn't get any players to sign for us afterwards. :( Butttt.............ON the shirt thing that Rachel is talking about....its true! I ahve yet to see a game were Manny Parra's shirt is not buttoned right! He misses a hole, skips over a hole, frogets about a hole...ugh, single men. We took a hilarious picture with Trevor Hoffman though! We put sunglasses and a hat on him, it was pretty funny ;) Sadly though, the game was a bust at the end, and we basically cried. but, after the game they were playing a clip from a song over and over aggain, "Its gonna be allright." so we mad e achain of the 5 of us (Rachel, me, my sis Fiona and bro Luke and Rachels sis Allie) And we sang it over and over again, to remind ourselves that someday, sometime, the Brewers will redeem themselves and will shoot to the playoffs, unstoppable, unbeatable, and people will say, "You know that team that won the world series last time? The Milwaukee Brewers? Yeah, they had the best fans! They never gave up hope!"

Ditto to the last post
So I (Rachel) went on our humble blog this lovely Sunday afternoon to write a late post about Fridays game. But now I'm in disappointment to see that my co-author; Cassie has already posted about Friday!! But I wont let her dash my hopes and dreams, so I will being the writing process:
OH MY GOSH DID YOU SEE THE GAME ON FRIDAY?!?!?! IT WAS AMAZINGGGGGGGG!!!!!!! COMING BACK LIKE THAT IN THE 9TH!! I WAS SCREAMING SO LOUD I COULD BARELY TALK THAT NIGHT. I SOUNDED LIKE A CHAIN SMOKER!
ok, I'm done ranting :) now onto a very important subject: The silly brewer players and how they button their shirt. ;) on Wednesday, Manny missed a button hole, on Friday Brauny missed 2 I repeat 2 button holes, and according to Cassie, Braun's shirt was messed up again today!! Whats up with that?? But I did notice a pattern...all the "messed-up-shirt-dudes" are single!! We need to find them some ladies!! ;) HAHA!!!
And on that note; have a wonderful Sunday afternoon!-

Dear Brewers, i could not love you more right now after your alst performance. You never gave up, and you came bac to it the Astro's square in the nose. We aint got no title
I(Rachel) went over to Cassie's house to teaech eachother how to play volleyball and softball, in which we had a very informative time doing, but ended up watching the game, and we were very sad about Manny Parra's pitching demise. :(
I(Cassie)am a horrible typer. And I(Rachel) am watching Cassie's little brother play a irritating and repetitive game! And now were doing nothing. woohoo. But wallowing in sadness over Manny, And everything else that went wrong in todays game. Its a sad(but beautiful) day. :(

All I can say about Monday nights game is HA.HA.HA. :P Its called an old fashioned butt whooping and you just got SERVED! (What?) The Brewers lost 5 in a row, and then they come back and complete shut the Cubs down, their confidence is probably pretty high right now! They needed this so bad! I like it when they win, but I LOVE it when they beat CHicago! :)))And I Hart Hart and his contract!

Crew
Poor Manny Parra. He didnt have a bad night, really. 4 hits, a few walks, a handful of strikeouts. But all the hits turned into runs. The Crew had multiple chances to score and take the lead, but let them all slip through their fingers like jelly on a hot day. Being a Brewer fan is emotionally draining. Its like a bad relationship with someone you really like. The ups and downs, but the love and appreciation fro who they really are. The Brewers win and they lose, but through it all, we still love them and appreciate them for being the lovable losers of Milwaukee. Atleast were ahead of the Cubs. For now. I hope the Brewers know that I will always love them. 0-162, or 162-0, Rach and I will always be watching, following, and wallowing with them. once a Brewer fan, always a Brewer fan :)

Brewers VS. Reds
Went to the game with Rachel on Monday night, and sadly did not get my caricture signed by Corey :( Rachel doesnt have internet right now, so thats why she's not posting, btw. We had a lot of fun at the game though, like we always do! We tried to go early to get autographs, but it was boy scout night, and that took stinkin' FOR-EV-ER! BUt the game was still fun! Jim Edmonds, man-o-man. He's one of those guys you just sit back and watch and go, "Ummmm, how old are you?!?!?!?? and you still play like that?!?!?!!?!?" The Trade deadline is slowly creeping up on us, and I personally think that theres gonna be some big shaboom trade thats gonna happen. And Milwaukee could be a part of it. Well, I actually have no idea whats gonna happen. But whatever does, and whoever goes, it had better be a dang good deal! On Brewers.com their saying how Hart probably won't get traded before the deadline. Does that eman your going to trade him in the offseason??? DON'T TRADE HART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's a valuable player, and he loves it here. Why get rid of our offense????? OKOKOKOKOKOKOKOK, Fielder I can see leaving. I don't think he likes it here, and I think he could really blossom somewhere else. Although, Fielder and Braun are like Peanut Butter and Jelly, so that will be interesting to see how Bruan responds to Fielder being traded. And Joe Inglett pitching alst night?!?!?!!?!?! That was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! 3 up 3 down! He did a better job than all the regular pitchers did last night! heehee :) Can't wait to go to my next game!

What a weekend!
Wow, what a fun series to watch against Washington! Provided, they are like, one of the lesser threats in baseball...but Milwaukee Battled back, held them at bay, and all in all played fantastically! Manny Parra and Dave Bush, I think, are the stars of the weekend! Manny did such a GREAT AWESOME AMAZING job on Saturday!!! He has always been my favorite pitcher, and no matter how bad he got I always knew that he could pitch like that! :) and Bushy, what a great come back compared to his last few outings! I was in Minnesota at the game were he gave up like 7 runs to the Twinkies, and we ended up losing by 12...Yeah, we got pretty hassled for being Brewer fans that night, but we always knew Bush could pitch, otherwise he wouldnt be here :) and Poor Corey Hart :( He gets going so well and for so long, and then he slams his hand into the wall! And then Jim Edmonds goes down!!! Oh mee goodness! Edmonds has been such a great utility guy, producing runs, running down balls, and playing on a much higher scale than you would think a 40 yr. old would be able too! and I'm really happy that Uecker is back! :) TOMORROW! Rachel and I are going to the game together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYAYYAYAAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My little sis got me a Corey Hart caricture at the Fair the other day, so I wanna see if He'll sign it maybe!!! :)))))))))

Trade of Harts
Blogging while its raining! Tornado Warnings, woohoo! Anyways, The Crew ahs played pretty pathetically towards the Pirates this week and I feel really bad because I can see that their not individually struggling but more or less struggling as a team. They need to take a step back, see evry day as a new one, and not let yesterday get in the way. Play like you mean it. Forget the rules and use your instincts! Think about hte boys and girls that play their hearts out in baseball everyday. Adn their not even getting PAID! You guys can do it! We've already seen you do it! And please, please, PLEASE DON'T TRADE COREY HART! HE IS NOT GOING TO GET YOU A TIM LINCECUM, OR A ROY HALLADAY OR A JOSH JOHNSON. HE WON'T. As much as I love Corey, (with all my Hart) I know that othehr teams are not going to be willing to trade one of heir star pitchers for a guy that might not stay hot. (Hopefully he'll always stay hot) Trade some of the guys that are sittting on our benches or on our disabled lists. Or, as much as it pains me, Trevor Hoffman. We have Axford, so with him as a closer, eventually were not gonna need Hoffman! This is such a hard decision...I love all the Brewers, but someones gotta go. Who's already gone? :D
~C
P.S. Might go to a block party on Saturday! Too bad Rachel can't go with me :( That makes my Brewer Hart very sad :(

Ooops
Ooops as in, oops I havent posted in a very long time. Weeelllll, the All-Star game was cool, the National League finally snapped their losing streak, too bad Hart and braun didnt really help. Atleast they made the team! heehee :) I am cringing at the fact of this approaching trade deadline, just waiting for my cell to go off saying that I have a text from MLB.com saying that Corey Hart or Prince Fielder or somebody was traded. That would break my Hart. :( They havent been playing bad baseball lately, except for the pitching is kinda going bezerk right now...sad...adn Lou Pinella announced his retirement. Maybe now the Cubs will lose. I know that makes me seem unsportsmanlike, but Chicago is unsportsmanlike :D I do respect the players and the hard work it took for them to get to the majors. Brewers, good job coming back, but please stop swinging at those high fastballs! Thank you and goodnight.

Home Run Derby!
Congrats Davd Ortiz on becoming the Red Sox first ever home run derby champ!
It was a fun show to watch! Corey Hart had a great first round, hitting 13 homers, but sadly failed in the second round with no homers. I think he sat for too long. He should ahve been up stretching and practicing and swinging his bat aorund. But I still Hart him :) And our condolences to George Steinbrenners family at this time.

Paratas VS. Cerveceros
Were would the Brewers be if it weren't for the Pirates?!? We have to win sometime, and its almost guarenteed when the Pirates pull their ships into town! Cerveceros' night was awesome, evne though the Axe-man gave up a homer in the 9th, they still all did fantastical! AAAAANNNNDDDDD COREY HART! Another game winning homer in the bottom of the 9th! The dude is getting some serious hits! And with Braun and Fielder back in their proper spots, They've both done better! Braun with a few homers, Fielders picking some up too! Sometimes, Ken Macha, or like, almost most of the time, Struggling players need consistency in everyday games, like, batting in their regular spots! Especially guys like Prince and Brauny. Their young, and yeah, they had some trouble, but moving them around didn't really help, but putting them back in the same spot did :) yay :D

Jenkins retires a Brewer!
Geoff Jenkins retired as a Brewer on Friday! Positive, friendly, and apsolutely in love with the game of baseball. Milwaukee was very lucky to have you! And, I'm sure EVERYBODY is wondering, when you ran the sausage race, what place did you come in?!?
lol thanks for the memories :)
lol thanks for the memories :)
Pirates VS. Brewers 5-4 F/10
Tonights game was so awesome!!! Hart and Prince went deep, Braun with the (BEAUTIFUL)walkoff hit, even though he's been in a bad slump, it was all pretty good! I thought Brauns interview afterwards was pretty funny, how he says he's played terrible(atleast he can admit it) and then he says that his confidence doesnt bother him, even with his kind of talent...haha. He's not cocky at all. :o
It just goes to show that it ain't over til its over! You can be down 10 runs by the 3rd inning, and you can't just get up and walk away! The whole beauty of sports is that no matter what the score you have to play the whole game. 9 innings, 4 quarters, whatever the sport. It really ain't over til its over, and I think the Brewers had a little comeback tonight and really proved it. :)

Brewers VS. Giants
Weelllll, they lost pretty horribly last night, poor guys. And it was very painful to watch! But I (Cassie! :) had my sister Isabelle and my friends Aaron and Ana with me and we had fun together! It was Ana's first Brewer game EVER so it was cool to get to show her what I do all summer! :D My sister just HAD to park like a mile and a half away from the stadium, so by the time we actually got to the park I had a huge blister on my foot the size of a quarter because I wore short converse All-Stars! (Which tend to rub on your ankles) Spent a few innings chatting with Rosalie, who works at Miller Park as an Usher, who's super sweet and lots of fun to talk too! She also dearly loves Craig Counsell :) It was also Aaron's last night in Wisconsin as he left today with his family to move to Colorado, so he went out a true Wisconsinite! :) Can't wait for the next game!

June 29th-Brewers vs. Astros!
So I (Rachel) got a call from Cassie at 12:00p.m asking if I wanted to go to the game that night....uhhhh......HECK YES!!!! What kind of question is that? So about 20 minutes till the game starts, I get a frantic text from Cassie asking me to walk to the closest intersection in my neighborhood because her sister is to afraid to drive in my neighborhood. So after walking my butt off, I get into car where the death threats are flying around like flies off a wall!!! Cassie's future-brother-in-law was pretty TO'd that he was going to miss the first inning..but of course it was all in good fun :) So after jumping out of the car, scalping tickets, and waiting in lines we FINALLY made it into our seats. Thinking that we should get the fun stuff out of the way first, we decide to go get our picture taken with a life size cut-out of Trevor Hoffman. Waiting in line in front of us are three little boys (maybe about 13,12,and 9 years old), which turn out to be the players sons! Two of them were Hoffman's Kids, and the other one was Doug Davis's kids! So after following them around the stadium for a little while (HA!) we made it back to our seats to watch the Brewers win 7-5!! All in all, that was a verrrrrrry good game :)
Thursday, July 1, 2010
The game tonight was pretty good! I(Cassidy) didnt get to watch alot of it because I had to work. :P But our boys blew through quite nicely and showed those Cardinals up! Seems like our pitching is finally coming together :D gee, its aobut time! Didn't ahve access to the computer at all today, so I made an emergency call to Rachel and had her use 3 of my email addresses to vote for the all-star game, heehee :)
