Crew
Poor Manny Parra. He didnt have a bad night, really. 4 hits, a few walks, a handful of strikeouts. But all the hits turned into runs. The Crew had multiple chances to score and take the lead, but let them all slip through their fingers like jelly on a hot day. Being a Brewer fan is emotionally draining. Its like a bad relationship with someone you really like. The ups and downs, but the love and appreciation fro who they really are. The Brewers win and they lose, but through it all, we still love them and appreciate them for being the lovable losers of Milwaukee. Atleast were ahead of the Cubs. For now. I hope the Brewers know that I will always love them. 0-162, or 162-0, Rach and I will always be watching, following, and wallowing with them. once a Brewer fan, always a Brewer fan :)

Brewers VS. Reds
Went to the game with Rachel on Monday night, and sadly did not get my caricture signed by Corey :( Rachel doesnt have internet right now, so thats why she's not posting, btw. We had a lot of fun at the game though, like we always do! We tried to go early to get autographs, but it was boy scout night, and that took stinkin' FOR-EV-ER! BUt the game was still fun! Jim Edmonds, man-o-man. He's one of those guys you just sit back and watch and go, "Ummmm, how old are you?!?!?!?? and you still play like that?!?!?!!?!?" The Trade deadline is slowly creeping up on us, and I personally think that theres gonna be some big shaboom trade thats gonna happen. And Milwaukee could be a part of it. Well, I actually have no idea whats gonna happen. But whatever does, and whoever goes, it had better be a dang good deal! On Brewers.com their saying how Hart probably won't get traded before the deadline. Does that eman your going to trade him in the offseason??? DON'T TRADE HART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's a valuable player, and he loves it here. Why get rid of our offense????? OKOKOKOKOKOKOKOK, Fielder I can see leaving. I don't think he likes it here, and I think he could really blossom somewhere else. Although, Fielder and Braun are like Peanut Butter and Jelly, so that will be interesting to see how Bruan responds to Fielder being traded. And Joe Inglett pitching alst night?!?!?!!?!?! That was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! 3 up 3 down! He did a better job than all the regular pitchers did last night! heehee :) Can't wait to go to my next game!

What a weekend!
Wow, what a fun series to watch against Washington! Provided, they are like, one of the lesser threats in baseball...but Milwaukee Battled back, held them at bay, and all in all played fantastically! Manny Parra and Dave Bush, I think, are the stars of the weekend! Manny did such a GREAT AWESOME AMAZING job on Saturday!!! He has always been my favorite pitcher, and no matter how bad he got I always knew that he could pitch like that! :) and Bushy, what a great come back compared to his last few outings! I was in Minnesota at the game were he gave up like 7 runs to the Twinkies, and we ended up losing by 12...Yeah, we got pretty hassled for being Brewer fans that night, but we always knew Bush could pitch, otherwise he wouldnt be here :) and Poor Corey Hart :( He gets going so well and for so long, and then he slams his hand into the wall! And then Jim Edmonds goes down!!! Oh mee goodness! Edmonds has been such a great utility guy, producing runs, running down balls, and playing on a much higher scale than you would think a 40 yr. old would be able too! and I'm really happy that Uecker is back! :) TOMORROW! Rachel and I are going to the game together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYAYYAYAAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My little sis got me a Corey Hart caricture at the Fair the other day, so I wanna see if He'll sign it maybe!!! :)))))))))

Trade of Harts
Blogging while its raining! Tornado Warnings, woohoo! Anyways, The Crew ahs played pretty pathetically towards the Pirates this week and I feel really bad because I can see that their not individually struggling but more or less struggling as a team. They need to take a step back, see evry day as a new one, and not let yesterday get in the way. Play like you mean it. Forget the rules and use your instincts! Think about hte boys and girls that play their hearts out in baseball everyday. Adn their not even getting PAID! You guys can do it! We've already seen you do it! And please, please, PLEASE DON'T TRADE COREY HART! HE IS NOT GOING TO GET YOU A TIM LINCECUM, OR A ROY HALLADAY OR A JOSH JOHNSON. HE WON'T. As much as I love Corey, (with all my Hart) I know that othehr teams are not going to be willing to trade one of heir star pitchers for a guy that might not stay hot. (Hopefully he'll always stay hot) Trade some of the guys that are sittting on our benches or on our disabled lists. Or, as much as it pains me, Trevor Hoffman. We have Axford, so with him as a closer, eventually were not gonna need Hoffman! This is such a hard decision...I love all the Brewers, but someones gotta go. Who's already gone? :D

P.S. Might go to a block party on Saturday! Too bad Rachel can't go with me :( That makes my Brewer Hart very sad :(

Ooops
Ooops as in, oops I havent posted in a very long time. Weeelllll, the All-Star game was cool, the National League finally snapped their losing streak, too bad Hart and braun didnt really help. Atleast they made the team! heehee :) I am cringing at the fact of this approaching trade deadline, just waiting for my cell to go off saying that I have a text from MLB.com saying that Corey Hart or Prince Fielder or somebody was traded. That would break my Hart. :( They havent been playing bad baseball lately, except for the pitching is kinda going bezerk right now...sad...adn Lou Pinella announced his retirement. Maybe now the Cubs will lose. I know that makes me seem unsportsmanlike, but Chicago is unsportsmanlike :D I do respect the players and the hard work it took for them to get to the majors. Brewers, good job coming back, but please stop swinging at those high fastballs! Thank you and goodnight.

Home Run Derby!
Congrats Davd Ortiz on becoming the Red Sox first ever home run derby champ!
It was a fun show to watch! Corey Hart had a great first round, hitting 13 homers, but sadly failed in the second round with no homers. I think he sat for too long. He should ahve been up stretching and practicing and swinging his bat aorund. But I still Hart him :) And our condolences to George Steinbrenners family at this time.

Paratas VS. Cerveceros
Were would the Brewers be if it weren't for the Pirates?!? We have to win sometime, and its almost guarenteed when the Pirates pull their ships into town! Cerveceros' night was awesome, evne though the Axe-man gave up a homer in the 9th, they still all did fantastical! AAAAANNNNDDDDD COREY HART! Another game winning homer in the bottom of the 9th! The dude is getting some serious hits! And with Braun and Fielder back in their proper spots, They've both done better! Braun with a few homers, Fielders picking some up too! Sometimes, Ken Macha, or like, almost most of the time, Struggling players need consistency in everyday games, like, batting in their regular spots! Especially guys like Prince and Brauny. Their young, and yeah, they had some trouble, but moving them around didn't really help, but putting them back in the same spot did :) yay :D

Jenkins retires a Brewer!
Geoff Jenkins retired as a Brewer on Friday! Positive, friendly, and apsolutely in love with the game of baseball. Milwaukee was very lucky to have you! And, I'm sure EVERYBODY is wondering, when you ran the sausage race, what place did you come in?!?
lol thanks for the memories :)

Pirates VS. Brewers 5-4 F/10
Tonights game was so awesome!!! Hart and Prince went deep, Braun with the (BEAUTIFUL)walkoff hit, even though he's been in a bad slump, it was all pretty good! I thought Brauns interview afterwards was pretty funny, how he says he's played terrible(atleast he can admit it) and then he says that his confidence doesnt bother him, even with his kind of talent...haha. He's not cocky at all. :o
It just goes to show that it ain't over til its over! You can be down 10 runs by the 3rd inning, and you can't just get up and walk away! The whole beauty of sports is that no matter what the score you have to play the whole game. 9 innings, 4 quarters, whatever the sport. It really ain't over til its over, and I think the Brewers had a little comeback tonight and really proved it. :)

Brewers VS. Giants
Weelllll, they lost pretty horribly last night, poor guys. And it was very painful to watch! But I (Cassie! :) had my sister Isabelle and my friends Aaron and Ana with me and we had fun together! It was Ana's first Brewer game EVER so it was cool to get to show her what I do all summer! :D My sister just HAD to park like a mile and a half away from the stadium, so by the time we actually got to the park I had a huge blister on my foot the size of a quarter because I wore short converse All-Stars! (Which tend to rub on your ankles) Spent a few innings chatting with Rosalie, who works at Miller Park as an Usher, who's super sweet and lots of fun to talk too! She also dearly loves Craig Counsell :) It was also Aaron's last night in Wisconsin as he left today with his family to move to Colorado, so he went out a true Wisconsinite! :) Can't wait for the next game!

June 29th-Brewers vs. Astros!
So I (Rachel) got a call from Cassie at 12:00p.m asking if I wanted to go to the game that night....uhhhh......HECK YES!!!! What kind of question is that? So about 20 minutes till the game starts, I get a frantic text from Cassie asking me to walk to the closest intersection in my neighborhood because her sister is to afraid to drive in my neighborhood. So after walking my butt off, I get into car where the death threats are flying around like flies off a wall!!! Cassie's future-brother-in-law was pretty TO'd that he was going to miss the first inning..but of course it was all in good fun :) So after jumping out of the car, scalping tickets, and waiting in lines we FINALLY made it into our seats. Thinking that we should get the fun stuff out of the way first, we decide to go get our picture taken with a life size cut-out of Trevor Hoffman. Waiting in line in front of us are three little boys (maybe about 13,12,and 9 years old), which turn out to be the players sons! Two of them were Hoffman's Kids, and the other one was Doug Davis's kids! So after following them around the stadium for a little while (HA!) we made it back to our seats to watch the Brewers win 7-5!! All in all, that was a verrrrrrry good game :)

The game tonight was pretty good! I(Cassidy) didnt get to watch alot of it because I had to work. :P But our boys blew through quite nicely and showed those Cardinals up! Seems like our pitching is finally coming together :D gee, its aobut time! Didn't ahve access to the computer at all today, so I made an emergency call to Rachel and had her use 3 of my email addresses to vote for the all-star game, heehee :)
